Brenda Muntemba survives car crash in Kenya

Zambia’s High Commissioner to Kenya Brenda Muntemba this evening cheated death after the car she was travelling in was involved in a head-on collision along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

Muntemba and her official driver Joseph Gutu sustained injuries after the Toyota Prado which was being driven towards Nairobi collided head-on with a trailer.

Her vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming trailer while that of Botswana’s Duke Lephoko rammed into Mutemba’s.

Wasa Kaluwe, first Secretary for Tourism at the Zambian High Commission also sustained serious injuries.

Muntemba, who was taken into surgery has come out though she will undergo another surgery on Friday this week.

Details of Kaluwe and their official driver are still been awaited. And all the accident victims are currently receiving treatment at the Machakos Level 5 hospital.
