Bonnie Tembo alleged killed himself after being ejected from Petauke campaign

PF Secretary General Edgar Lungu is said to have ordered the removal of Bonnie Tembo from the campaigns of Petauke Central.
This action seems to have embarrassed Bonnie Tembo who allegedly took his life this afternoon.
Tembo was accused of causing confusion and collecting money from all prospecting candidates.
The PF candidates are Elias Daka, William Banda, Charles Nyanoka, Mabvuto Banda, Allan Zulu, Patrick Banda, Mike Tembo and Cuthbert Phiri.
The favourite candidate is Elias Daka popularly known as Eliboma.
The seat fell vacant when the Supreme Court nullified Dora Siliya’s seat.
The Secretary General is said to have sent a team in Petauke to ascertain the prospects of the party winning the seat.
All assessment reports fingered Bonnie Tembo as the source of central confusion.
Tembo’s body was lying in Chingwere Clinic in the evening but has now been taken to the University Teaching Hospital.
When his body was viewed by various PF supporters,Tembo was forming with white stuff at the mouth.
The girlfriend, Gwendoline Chanda, is “detained” for her own safety at Muchinga Police Post.
She was accused by the community of giving the boyfriend sexual boosters when she urgently called for a taxi to rush Tembo to hospital.
Howver initial inquiries by the Police show that Gwendoline had come to Mulungushi to pay her last respects to President Sata, when she was called that Tembo had just arrived from Petauke and was unwell.
She rushed home and found him critically ill and summoned a taxi.
Probably, only a postmortem will ascertain Tembo’s death as poison or not.
