Big Brother Africa Winner Dillish broke after blowing $300, 000

Winner of the Big Africa 2013 – Chase, Dillish Mathews has confirmed that she is now broke after spending the $300, 000 prize money she won bearly a year and a few months ago.

” (You) Want to read about what I did with my money that I got from Big Brother? It’s finished. A couple of Rolexes, kept going to Milan, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai…it’s finished. Kaput!” Dillish who is Namibian says in a video she released on Instagram.

And a Zambian Blogger Martin Mubita wondered how one can be broke within a short period of time after getting huge amount of money.

“Truly, fortune favours fools,” he commented on Zambian Eye Facebook Group added “She will remember that money trust me! (It) Might not be so much but enough to turn one’s life around if smart enough.”

“That’s a lot of money, if one knows how to invest they can never suffer,” says Moses Chikwanda, another blogger.

Kandy Nkumbu’s view is that Dillish could not have been so careful the way she spent the money because she didn’t work for it.

“All good things come to an end…besides its not like she worked too hard for it,” he says.
