Lungu and HH

EEP leader Chilufya Tayali has claimed that main opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema wants to usurp power using civil disobedience and violence.

Tayali has since cautioned President Lungu to woke up saying the Intelligence officers are now frustrated because there has been no action on their reports.

He said this in an article below:

Before I say anything, I want to ask, where is the intelligence? Or is it that, they are frustrated by lack of actions on their intelligence reports? Or the intelligence has no capacity?

I ask these questions because, there are so many schemes going on in Hakainde Hichilema’s camp, to usurp power by all means.

I can challenge HH on this article, that, if what I am saying is not true, let him take me to court, at least I can have an opportunity to prove these assertions since President Lungu and his intelligence seem to be sleeping.

I am just from walking through the riot that took place at UNZA and it is very clear to me that, this was not about meal allowances but another failed scheme to destabilize the Country in a quest to usurp power, through an early election.

Though the riot failed to escalate to the levels the schemers wanted, it was well planed and executed, but thanks to the alert police and the obedient UNZA students, because most of them were indifferent.

The question is, how did the intelligence fail to intercept the plots, because it really caught almost everyone by surprise.

Is it by sheer coincidence that this riot comes immediately after Hakainde Hichilema’s rally at his secretariat? Of course that was not a press conference, but a rally and it is very clear from the way he addressed it.

HH was not addressing the media, but his cadres and the everybody who is disgruntled or frustrated by lack of food, Taxes, alleged corruption, high pay of the President which he (HH) exaggerated at K500 million to incense people and other social needs.

The rally was paid for and repeated on Prime TV in the night, of which 2 hours later, the riot at UNZA started.

In my view, I think HH was trying to cash-in, politically, using the increase of fuel, because he knows that people are upset, by igniting a riot from UNZA he must have hoped that other citizens would join in.

HH made it very clear that he would like to see riots like the ones of 1991 and he is seeing it happening soon. From where was he talking like that, or we want to be naive that, he just said it.

Trust me, I have my own frustrations economically and my debts proves my case, but I love my Country and I would not want it to go in flames to get want I desire.

Two rooms were burnt, with two girls badly hurt (one was suffocated while the other jumped from the top room to the ground in fear of fire) and were rushed to the hospital. Surely is this what HH wants just for him to get power.

Without fear or favor, I recommend that the intelligence be restructured and Hakainde be warned and cautioned for his careless talk on that public rally which he called “Press conference” because he was highly sensational and malicious to incite people.

I also wish to appeal to the new Deputy Inspector General, Mr. Bonnie Kapeso, that, most of us called for his promotions because he is usually on top of things. Kakoma Kanganja is almost obsolete and I can’t wait for him to go.

Mr. Kapeso, must make sure that, this Country is free of unscrupulous political leaders, who are more dangerous than criminals with guns, because out of their influence and propaganda, they can set this Country on fire where many people would die.

BaEdgar Lungu must ask Kampyongo and the director of intelligence about some of the schemes Hakainde is involved in, because I know, they know, but we are letting this man have a free way with his dangerous agenda.

I understand Kampyongo has been all over but certain issues should not left for the next day.

I am glad to hear that, President Lungu had a meeting with the Financial Intelligence Director, I hope you will use that institution a lot of illegal money dealings because some of the money is actually going to UPND. How do you think HH get’s his money?

I am not saying the FIC should be used for political expediency but to stop illegality on both aisles. The problem is that we only think financial illegalities only happen to those in Govt but some oppositions leaders are also very dirty in that regard.

  2. Tayali is inciting Zambians to rise against Lungu.
HH is very innocent. Is it HH who has increased fuel, meal meal, transport etc. Is it HH who has been borrowing. HH is trying by all means to give advise. Tayali you are mad.

  3. Tayali is trying very hard to remain relevant by pitting 2 big boys against each other. We used to play these games in lower secondary school days. He doesn’t seem to have out grown those days. This is not a game. Lives are being lost.
