49 year old man’s body unclaimed in Luanshya

The body of a 49 year old man in Luanshya is still lying in the mortuary awaiting claim by family members.

The man who has been identified as Alwiso Mulenga , a vagabond of Maposa East in Baluba area in the outskirts of Luanshya has been lying at Luanshya Thompson Hospital mortuary  from 20^th August, 2013 till date.

Mulenga who died after a short illness at the hospital has not yet been claimed by relatives.

The Luanshya municipal council is calling upon members of the public to help with information on the way about of Mulenga’s family.

Luanshya municipal council is by law is required to facilitate for the disposal of any body that lies unclaimed within a period of 90 days. It is for this reason that families who do not know the where about of relatives make extra effort in finding out and ensuring to the safety of their loved ones.
