48 houses belong to ex State House official – Kambwili

Opposition National Democratic Congress leader Chishimba Kambwili claims the mysterious 48 houses being probed by the Anti-Corruption Commission in Lusaka belong to a former state house official.

Kambwili says he has information that government wants use a Copperbelt based business executive to convince Congolese businessman, Moise Katumbi to claim ownership of the houses in question.

And Kambwili has further claimed that that senior government officials have allocated themselves plots in Shibuyunji Forest Reserve Number 42, without following proper land procedure.

He says the whole land process is suspicious and should be reversed just like the Forest 27 land saga where politically exposed individuals have benefitted huge chunks of land.

Last week, acting lands commissioner told Diamond TV that there is nothing irregular about the allocation of land in Forest 27, Lusaka east.
