Kafwaya denies joining PF

Kafwaya raises the PF symbol at a gathering where he reportedly announced his defection to the ruling party

UPND Solwezi Central Member of Parliament Dawson Kafwaya has refuted media reports that he has officially defected to the PF.

Mr. Kafwaya who is currently serving as North Western Province Minister spoke to Hot FM News in an interview.

But the UPND says Mr. Kafwaya’s defection was long overdue following his decision to serve as Minister under the PF and helping the ruling party to mobilize in North Western Province.

UPND Deputy Spokesperson Edwin Lifwekelo said the move is welcome and that the UPND will ensure he loses his seat when a by-election is called.
