Bishop reveals his dream of unrest in Zambia

Lusaka Clergy Bishop Simon Chihana has called on all Zambians to pray for peace as the country goes to the polls next year.

Bishop Chihana says he was shaken with a dream he had where the country was in unrest state.

Below is Bishop Chihana’s narrative of his dream:

Close to two months ago I Simon Chihana experienced a particular strange dream of confusion, panic and unrest in our beloved country Zambia.

In the dream, I saw people running everywhere in great fear trying to seek refuge in various places like homes, churches and clubs and offices.

People panicked so much that some of them left their children behind without realising it. And as I stood by our front door of the house praying loudly that God may interven, men and women in uniform both the police and the military pushing people and arresting those they felt needed to be picked.

Gun shots were heard everywhere, but I kept on praying and attempted to call President Lungu on my mobile but could not go through but later I saw him running for his life asking that he be spared and I immediately commanded the men who had just captured him not to harm but allow him to go to the TV and radio to stop the situation which he had created. The military men gave me a look of not being happy with my order but they obeyed.

Upon that I walked into the house for safety and immediately there was jubilation in the land that peace had returned and my children crying tears of joy though traumatised greatly and I woke up shaken and immediately started to pray for our country Zambia that peace may prevail continually in our land and have continued to do so even as elections approach in 2016.
