34 year old man drowns and dies in Pemba

A 34 year old man of Pemba died after drowning in a dam in Pemba District Southern province, reports Zambian Eye Choma Correspondent.

Provincial Police Commissioner Mary Chikwanda  has confirmed the incidence and identified the deceased as Essau Chipango.

Essau who is an employe at Southern Water and Sewerage Company (SWASCO) died on April 3, 2014 as he was working with his friend.
Police retrieved the body of the deceased on Thursday and the body is lying in the Pemba hospital mortuary awaiting burial.

Meanwhile people in Macha area of Choma district woke up to a sudden news of a 15yrs old grade 12 Francis Davidson secondary school who was found dead last Friday afternoon.

Sources from the school revealed that the pupil died after she attempted to abort a three months pregnancy.The body is lying at Macha mission Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem and burial.
