Green Party kicks off campaigns on the Copperbelt

Campaigns ahead of the general polls due in 2016 in Zambia are heating up. New political parties are being registered and are already up and running in preparations for the polls.

On the photographs is the president of the newly registered Green Party, Mr Peter Sinkamba passing through Kitwe’s Wusakile township, on the Copperbelt province.

The Green Party’s message is anchored on “sustainability.”

“People all over the country are welcoming the Green party and believing that Green policies are the way to go in this day and age.The Green Govt will deliver economic independence to the Zambians through the advancement of economic rights,” says its president. “We are practicing ideology based politics and we are the only political party doing that. We believe in Green values and we are hoping to create a Zambia based on the green principles of sustainability,participatory democracy,non-violence,peace,respect for diversity ecological wisdom and many such caring values.Go green!!!! save Zambia.”
