16 UPND MPs go against party position, attend NDF

16 United Party for National Development (UPND) Members of Parliament have defied the party position of staying away from the National Dialogue Forum (NDF).

The National Dialogue Forum that starts today Wednesday April 24. 2019 has been under fire from Civil Society Organizations and Church mother bodies.

Most of the people who have absconded the Patriotic Front-led NDF have cited insincerity from the government side.

The UPND MPs were seen having the accreditation process done at the venue of the NDF.

Among the notable UPND names which are Solwezi West MP Teddy Kasonso and Keembe MP Princess Kasune (pictured).

And media reports has suggest that the UPND MPs together with their PF counterparts had a caucus meeting at Government House, the official residence of Vice President Inonge Wina after accreditation.
