Zambia Under 20 team after winning AFCON title

Zambia has named the final lineup for the Under 20 FIFA World Cup that will take place in South Korea.

Coach Beston Chambeshi unveiled the team on Friday, May 5, 2017 in a press statement released by Football Association of Zambia Information Office to Zambia Eye.

The Young Chipolopolo were recently crowned champions of Africa after winning the 2017 continental tournament which Zambia hosted.

Beston Chambeshi names final team for Fifa U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017

Coach Beston Chambeshi has named his final 21-member squad for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017 with the team heading to Spain this evening for a training camp.

Chambeshi has dropped Prince Bwalya (Green Buffaloes), Sydney Phiri (Mufulira Wanderers), Crispin Sakulanda (Mufulira Wanderers), Damiano Kola (Zanaco), Stephen Chulu (National Assembly), Leonard Mulenga (Nkana), Mwape Mumba (Getafe), Joseph Phiri (Red Arrows) and Patrick Ngoma (Red Arrows).

The team leaves today for Spain at 21:25 hours via Emirates Airlines and will play some friendly matches before finally heading to South Korea.
