We shall chase President Lungu – Mandevu Residents

Residents of Mandevu constituency in Lusaka have threatened to chase President Edgar Lungu if he goes to campaign in the constituency with Aspiring Member of Parliament Jean Kapata.

The Residents who protested over poor sanitation in the area charged that Kapata who has been MP for the constituency since 2006 had failed to develop the area. They complained that they have to live side by side with sewer water which is a health hazard situation.

They have vowed to teach the PF a lesson during next month’s general election. The Residents complained that they can only sonta po  (point at) at the sewer water.

The PF are campaigning on the works they have done while in government under the the slogan “sonta epowabomba” .

Kapata who is also serving as Minister in the PF government is one of the most unpopular candidates who have been impossed.
