Patriotic Front member of the central committee Brave Mweetwa has challenged opposition United Party For National Development (UPND) members of Parliament to come back point projects they have initiated for their electorates in respective constituencies.

Speaking during a press briefing in Choma on Sunday ,Mweetwa said most UPND MPs are interested in making money for themselves not working for the people who voted for them.

He charged that the only development seen in UPND mps  is buying of expensive vehicles and houses for themselves.

The former Siavonga District Commissioner said the difference with UPND and PF MPs is that ,UPND sees politics as an enterprise while PF is there to serves its People.

” Let the UPND MPs here point at projects they initiated at individual capacity if truly they have heart for their people, they have bought mansions and expensive vehicles while their electorates are suffering, that’s the difference between PF and UPND MPs ,the UPND MPs are only interested in making money for themselves not to serve the people, to them politics is an enterprise,” Says Mweetwa.

Mweetwa Challenged UPND MPs to come back to their people and help them be linked to government so that they can also benefit.

Mweetwa stressed that People in the province are denied link to important projects done by the govt due to the selfish members of Parliament.

He urged people of southern province to open their eyes and start working with President Edgar Lungu who cares for their welfare.

Mweetwa further said President Lungu has proved to be a national leader who has heart for all poor Zambians.

Speaking at the same  Muchinga province PF Youth Chairperson Robert Kapyanga specifically Challenged Choma Central UPND member of Parliament Cornelius Mweetwa to stop issuing lame and blank media statements when he has failed to deliver in his own constituency.

Kapyanga said donating ten pockets of cement to a school that requires more support is a joke from a member of Parliament to the people that voted for him.

He said Mweetwa should come back and address his people on why he has failed to initiate a single project in his constituency.

  1. No wonder Zambia is lagging in development and will remain as such for a long time to come if we have people thinking like this fellow Brave Mweetwa in leadership. What i know is in every country, there is always one government and it is foolish for this Mweetwa to say the nonsense he has said. The PF is using money from the national treasury and not Party Money. If UPND was given chance to govern this country, even thus senseless Mweetwa would notice the difference between the thieving PF and the real women and men in the UNPD because the latter have Zambians at heart!

    • Let them state when they wanted money from the Treasury and were denied.

We have Independent MPs delivering in their respective constituencies, are they using personal money?
