Pilato goes back to Prison

Controversial Musician and Rights Activist Chama Fumba common known as Pilato has gone back to Prison but this time to visit friends he made when he was incarcerated.

Pilato who was released on bail on Monday after spending a weekend in Prison following his arrest on return from exile, on Tuesday went to Kamwala Prison to visit friends.

He was accompanied by his closest associates Tabuda and music promoter Blackson. They presented some groceries to the friends he met in prison.

Pilato who lamented about how society treats prisoners said his gesture was humane and should be emulated by all.

Among the items Pilato delivered to his friends were sugar, tissue,cooking oil and bathing and washing soap.

Pilato was remanded in custody upon arrival from South Africa where he fled following threats on his life .

The threats came after the poetic musician unleashed a song “Koswe Mumpoto”which talked about resource misuse by politicians.
