The case in which two known PF Sympathisers, Robert Chabinga and Henry Mulenga have commenced questionable Judicial Review proceedings in an effort to defeat the Motion to Impeach Edgar Lungu which is pending in Parliament has taken a dramatic twist with the movers of the motion, Hon Gary Nkombo and Hon Chishimba Kambwili applying to Court to join the case. This is after PF lawyers Mosho and others secretly commenced the action with a view to quickly entering into a consent judgment with equally crooked Attorney General Likando Kalaluka to have the Impeachment Motion quashed by Court before Members of Parliament even get an opportunity to debate the Motion.

With Nkombo and Kambwili joining the proceedings, such a move will be prevented. What remains to be seen is how Judge Banda Bobo will deal with the application by Nkombo and Chishimba as established practice is that no proceedings that can affect the two should take place until such time that their application to join is disposed of.

Interestingly, Judge Banda Bobo is said to be out of office according to our sources and so a search at the registry shows that the application to join has yet to be given a hearing date despite there being a certificate of record on file where it is stated on behalf of Nkombo and Chishimba that there is the possibility that if the application to join is not heard quickly, certain detrimental steps in the matter can be taken against the interests of Nkombo and Kambwili and, to all intents and purposes, the Nation at large.

What Zambians need to ask themselves is that if the Impeachment Motion is as useless as the PF claim it is, why are they so scared of it? Why is PF so desperate to use whatever means at their disposal to ensure that the Motion is dead and buried even before Parliament can debate it, notwithstanding the PF’s so called majority?

  3. HH and his UPND are becoming not only a liability but also a danger to peace and security this country is enjoying. Ever since HH lost an election he has failed to come to terms with that reality. This man borrowed excessively from his financiers to fund his political campaigns, he was wrongly 100% confident that he was winning the elections and that it would be easy for him to pay back and these lenders are now on him hence this desperation which he cant tame. When he loses in 2021 (Which is most likely) the pressure to pay back what he has borrowed will even be so greater that he will refuse to accept defeat just to bring chaos in the country. It is now known that HH is not destined to rule this country no matter what he does even him knows this, it is only that he is under increasing pressure to pay back the political campaign money
