Mwaliteta and UPND Cadres after being freed

Daughter to freed former Minister of Lusaka province Obvious Mwaliteta today collapsed in court.

This happened when the court set free the father who had been in prison for over a year facing aggravated robbery charges.

Upon pronouncing Mwaliteta as a free man, Judge Mwape Bowa the prosecution team failed to provide evidence for the charge, the court went into jubilation. At this moment Mwaliteta’s daughter who was in court fainted.

She was rushed to the hospital where she was resurstated.

It is not the duty of the court to fill in the gaps of the prosecution evidence.The state has not established enough evidence to warrant a case and acquits both A1 and A2,” stated the High Court in acquitting Mwaliteta and Fred Hamaamba who were jointly charged.
