    • This is when a pregnant mother gives birth by operation(cutting the womb, stomach to remove the unborn child) in order to remove a baby from the womb.it is realy painful for our mothers ,some often die during operation and leaves babies behind without a mother.this is what scissor mean.

      • The op knows what a Caesarian (scissorian lol) birth is. He was making fun of the author of the article for a mispelled word i.e scissorian instead of Caesarian

  3. Generally, parents have the exclusive right to name their own babies. I have never heard of somebody naming somebody else’s baby. I suppose the Chituwos also named their own children after themselves.

    • What kind of nonsensical arrogance is this? where you go naming other people’s children after yourself? That is just how the arrogant colonialists behaved forcing upon us their names and discarding ours and our culture in the process. This brainwashed politician follows suit and wants to give his slave name BRIAN to a born free! Parents name your children with AFRICAN NAMES!! You are not obliged to heed him and his brainwashed wife.

Yes, MPs are “LAW MAKERS” and not the ones “for channeling development to constituencies’ as we are always told during bye-elections. Development must come to constituencies with or without an MP from the ruling party.

    Let me say this..............

  5. Why did he name the babies after himself and his wife? Something wrong someone needs to talk to these parents just because someone gives a gift does not mean you let them name your child. Naming your child means so much you’re attached to that name and the person.

    • an names.Usually as Africans children are given two names: Western & Umbilical(izhina ulyamukombo, ishina lya pamutoto etc.If parents later change their mind it is a simply matter to drop the name(western) before birth certificate is printed, then an African can be added. It is a matter of choices.Thank you folks.

      • Changing a name in Zambia is costly and a laborious process. Few want to go through the process.
