Opposition UPND has dismissed reports that it’s chairperson for strategy and mobilisation Sylvia Masebo has died.

Late afternoon Sunday, a story quoting family sources was circulated on social media that the former Chongwe member of parliament had died at the University Teaching Hospital where she was admitted to earlier in the day.

UPND Spokesperson Charles Kakoma says Masebo was alive and admitted to UTH where she is receiving treatment.

” Good morning. This morning, I have spoken to our Chairperson for Mobilisation and Strategy Sylvia Masebo who is admitted to the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka. She is fine although in pain. She is satisfied with the attention she is receiving from the doctors so far. Let’s pray for her,” stated Kakoma.

This is the fourth time Masebo is being reported dead.
