Chishimba Kamwili has charged that Local Government Minister Stephen Kampyongo has ordered the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) to conceal the three vehicles he was allegedly given by Granview International owner Bokani Soko as a reward for awarding his company the controversial $42 million fire truck deal.

“The same way Kampyongo stopped the peaceful protests by concerned citizens over the $42 million dollars theft is exactly the same way he asked RTSA to conceal the vehicles he received as bribes. Both institutions fall under his watch and he is in total control because people are scared to lose their jobs if they expose bwana,” Kambwili wrote on his Facebook page.

“What a pathetic response to grave allegations, asking us to go and check RTSA is as good as admitting theft and the President should act now before this government becomes a joke.”

Kambwili has repeatedly allegedly that Kampyongo received three brand new vehicles, a Toyota Hilux, Range Rover and Toyota Landcruiser VX as a reward for signing the lucrative fire tender deal but the minister has so far not offered a comprehensive response.

Meanwhile, the Roan PF Member of Parliament has revealed that President Lungu’s political advisor Kaizar Zulu has amassed so much wealth that he even owns a clothing label in Dubai.

“President Edgar Lungu knows Kaizar Zulu very well and knew his financial standing before he appointed him as Special Assistant to the President for politics, and he should not pretend that today, he doesn’t know that Kaizar Zulu even owns a trademark in Dubai of bags and belts called Kaizar,” Kambwili told journalists yesterday.

“He knows that Kaizar Zulu has bought a lot of property in Lusaka, he knows that Amos Chanda has bought a lot of property in Lusaka. What more evidence if he asking for? The President knows that indeed Kampyongo is in the custody and he drives the three vehicles that I talked about which he was given by Bokani Soko. A white Toyota Hilux 2016 model, a black Range Rover Vogue 2017 model, and a VX which was involved in an accident with sometime just before Cabinet was appointed on the Great North Road. What more evidence do you want Mr President for you to know that there is corruption? Your Excellency the President, Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, what more evidence do you want on these issues of corruption?”

  3. Mr CK, with due respect, if you want to stop the PF government and done away with, I urge you to reveal the electoral malpractices it committed during the 2016 presidential elections on the Copperbelt since you were part of the he pf strategists. However, part of the corruption you are reaviling in government is highly commendable.

  4. Mr CK, with due respect, if you want to stop the PF government in its tracks and done away with, I urge you to reveal the electoral malpractices it committed during the 2016 presidential elections on the Copperbelt like your colleagues are doing in Kalulushi since you were part of the he pf strategists to win that election. However, part of the corruption you are reaviling in government is highly commendable.

  5. The evidence is too much. The Tender had been inflated by more than double and what does Kampyongo sells $24m for the three vehicles. The fool. He is the modern fool compared our previously uneducated chiefs would sell slaves( their own people) and land for a piece of glass called mirror. If the PF is made of kampyongos and Kaizers in different forms and shapes then the party does not need to lead us.

    • And by the way, its fools like Kampyongo and Kaizer that are damaging the PF brand that the late MCS the founder worked hard to establish. By condoning and colluding with these culprits, we can now conclude that he either did not understand or has abandoned bashikulu vision. I would urge everyone who does not share ECL new vision of embracing corruption to jump the PF sinking boat. The Boat will not cross the wide and seemingly turbulent 2021 river. Common practice when the boat is sinking through in the water excess and unnecessary baggage( kampyongo and Kaizer) . As Zambians we have already demonstrated time over that our votes are incorruptible.
