I’m sorry says Enock Mwepu

Enock Mwepu

I would like to say sorry to everybody that has been supporting us as we looked to make history. We need your encouragement now more than ever. Losing is part of the game. If you never lose, you are never truly tested, and never forced to grow.

I am extremely disappointed that we didn’t make it to the World Cup. However we can only use this loss as a stepping stone to build an even better squad ready to rise to the challenge of qualifying for the 2022¬†World Cup. The work starts now.

The trouble with being a good sport is that you have to lose to prove it. Also I’d like to say to everyone that if you can’t accept losing you’ll never be able to win.

As a good sportsman I would like to say congratulations to Nigeria on their qualification for the Russia 2018 World Cup. Go and make Africa proud.

THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE FOR THE SUPPORT.
One Zambia, One Nation.

  3. Mwepu,
I salute you. The fact is that you young fellows Daka, Sakala, yourself, Mwila have brought back the good old days when Zambia team knew where the goal posts were located. The bottom line Mwepu is that you fellows tried hard, you put in all you had, your best and you were not bashful about the whole thing. You lost in dignity and I agree that losing should be treated as an experience from which great things will come. Be courageous, work harder and practice even in your spare time, focus, persist Mwepu, and above all, may God help your careers.

  4. I can not believe such wisdom coming from a young boy like you. I can only Praise God almighty through your parents who have given you a solid, sober and mature mind to say what you said. May God bless your family tree.
