Hichilema wins in the use of insulting language case

Opposition UPND president Hakainde Hichilema has won the case where he is charged for use of insulting language against officers who went to arrest him on April 10, 2017.

Delivering the verdict Monday morning, Lusaka Magistrate, Greenwell Malumani said the state witnesses lacked credibility and professionalism.

Magistrate Malumani observed that the police arrested the accused person on all charges including treason without any investigation.

The Magistrate stated the state has failed to prove that the accused person committed the offense before court. He says there was no credibility in the case brought before him by the state.

This means Hichilema only remains with one case which is treason charge and Magistrate David Simusamba will this afternoon give guidance on how the case will move.

  4. Unlike other judges and magistrates Magistrate Malumani must be loved by President Lungu. The ruling and acquittal of HH on insulting language must sound loudly as a wake up for Lungu. Magistrate Malumani is an able man,not courteous, integrity keeper, and respector of human rights. In this case intelligence officers have clearly shown their values, characteristics, and immaturity. The shame is just a shame but disgrace for the whole intelligence and police force. But all in all the one on the centre of embarrassment is the you our president because these people are not truthful and genuine to their work ethics.Mr President these type of officers are not in any way promoting your values to love all citizens as a parent does to all his kids whether bad or good.Theas type of officers and other pc selfish officials are not there as candles but as swords to clear democracy and respect of the human rights. They are greedy and selfish driven motivated people amasing stacks of money and buying houses abroad including here in the USA.
I trust Magistrate Simusamba during his judgement will honor God’s word as Jethro instructed Moses to choose judges who are able and does not condone courteous activities but to call a spade a spade without fear. Please redeem your conscience from inner guilty that may haunt you all of your life.We anxiously wait for the truth to come out for all to hear and see.Help to unity the country despite it being divided. The ball is the caught of the judiciary for partiality in all cases whether for the poor or rich.
