Hichilema who is already at Muvi Television studios says:

“We are at Muvi Tv, electricity has just been switched off by ZESCO. No explanation has been given, but we are determined to start the programme by any means possible. If the programme is delayed please bear with Muvi TV as they sort out this unfortunate incident.”

  2. Why are Zambian politics so backward? Even after more than 20 of multiparty politics, we still have such rubbish.

  8. When I say ECL is dictatorial some embecile say I donot know the definition of ‘dictator’, but is what Zesco did not a command from someone in political authority? It definitely is. Isn’t Zambia a democracy? Yes it is. Is what is happening now a democratic suite? NOT AT ALL. What then is Zambia become? It’s a DICTATORSHIP!!!!
Lungu is, without a doubt, losing these elections. Others have said he has inherited a Rupiah Banda strategy prior to 2011 elections – and that’s true, even worse than RB. PF are busier decampaigning themselves, a lot of sympathy votes will be passed on to HH and UPND, electorates are observing this. God can never be aligned with treacherous leaders like Lungu, HE (God) will empower them (lungu and his minions) with seemingly workable strategies to gain advantage over their competitors and yet those are self-destruction tactics, just wait and see. PF is in tatters right now, and there’s worse to come. Kambwili said the president (lungu) will remain a skeleton by the time parliament is dissolved, and that’s very true, lungu will remain with losers like former Father – Frank B. By the way there’s a rift between D. Chama and M. Phiri toward Lungu, more divisions are panning out, scared of their recent outbursts and what will happen to them seeing lungu is losing in August.
Be informed fellow electorates – red card lungu for HH, you will never regret.
    Zambia forward.

    • Time is really running out for PF.Every move made by any Political party is seriously monitored for it is a threat to them. No matter what PF is doing, when God says NO its No. When God says Yes, it is Yes.Politics of Violence are long gone and its Stupid to block your opponents in such away. All what UPND is doing check and Balance were the Govt has error ed. Zambia is going Backward, the time is set for a new Zambia after 11th August 2016.

  9. This is the danger of politicising state and government institutions. It is estimated that nearly 45% of SURPLUS labour at ZESCO was employed after 2011 directly from the PF directories! These were given sinecures from which they draw managerial salaries and conditions of service!

  14. Before we blame zesco and the government on this, why don’t we get the views of muvi tv and also zesco on why this has happened. It might be for a justifiable reason. I believe there is something that has happened and we will soon learn about it
