FB_IMG_1469985370535UPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema has stressed the need for education and job creation to empower youths with economic tools so as to keep them from being used as tools of violence.

Hichilema, who was accompanied by former Republican Vice-president Guy Scott, said this when he addressed a campaign rally at Kamba ground in Chifubu, Ndola this afternoon.

The opposition leader promised that once in government he will restore law and order, which he says has degenerated under PF. This includes bringing to an end to the restriction and removal of marketeers or bus drivers simply because of their political affiliation.

He expressed gratitude to the thousands of Chifubu residents who attended the rally despite intimidation and harassment from the PF.

Earlier, Hichilema and Dr. Scott addressed a rally at Mumbacala ground in Ngabwe, rural Central Province.

He assured the people of better agriculture policies, including timely delivery of farming inputs and cheaper fertiliser.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to providing quality education for all and continued his calls for peace and unity.

    • Mjb you were born out of a curse from your parents. What is really with you if I may ask? Are you alone or possessed? You will die with the haterage, we are not the reason for your being poor. Meditate on some goodness and ask yourself whether you will benefit from your haterage which I doubt. Anyway why am I even wasting my time advising a fool in you.

    • Banda, be careful with what you say. Mostly it lacks substance. Bwino ka, tinaona ba RB, awe sivokamba… Taonako aba benangu, yaba, kuwaya-waya fye.

Am not Tonga but I love one Zambia one Nation. Don’t light the fire that you can’t quench. I know you are young but represent Eastern Province well.

Pipo who champion tribalism have small brains. Just look at your mentor, this minister of yours, he is an academic misfit though called Dr.

He may look big but his brain has always suffered a set back in terns contemporary politics. Is this what you mean Dununa reverse???

Your thinking is backward. Actually, you are not adding value to your president. The fact that you come from the same province, does not mean you just need to support.

This name apparently must not be a good name coz you are behaving exactly in the same manner like this Pastor with the same name who thinks he can only support Ba Kumawa.

      Fellow Zambian.

  13. President Lungu’s cadres strangles to hide the truth in Mwinilunga
This evening the PF cadres were trying to refute the facts that their thugs have come in Mwinilunga to intimidate and cause violence despite evidence of the matter. They are going round announcing that it is a fake story. Meanwhile it is reported that the police have transferred the thugs that were picked to Solwezi. We are sure they will be released there or they are already released. It will be difficult for the people to believe that the PF party is a peace making party as they claim. They are like a man calling a dog with a stick in the hand. Surely even the dog knows that action speaks louder than words. If a dog can sense danger what more with a man who reasons, do the PF cadres think other people can’t read between the lines. The PF have never accepted and apologize for any incidence of crime or violence. I am really disappointed by president Lungu, I thought he was a humble and peaceful man but his actions have made me sick. He has engaged mother Zambia in a reverse gear back to pre-independence activities.

  16. Most people who support PF are just wallowing in poverty while the leaders they support like Kambwili, ECL and others have become extremely rich overnight, and supporters are shrinking because of poverty. Surely PF supporters should have their heads examined! Everything now is beyond the reach of the majority Zambians, loss of jobs, inflation levels very high and someone in his skeleton form coz of hunger is there shouting, “Lungu nafuti nafuti”! Tribe will never put food on yo table or give u a job! Graduates and anyone from college know that if Lungu is back u are doomed, no job. IMF is coming with its austerity measures so expect the worst from this incompetent ECL! He is cheating u and he knows that! Today is 1/08/16, has the textile in Kabwe opened as he promised a few days ago!
