HH lying, MPs have failed Western province – ZDA

UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema’s recent utterances accusing Government of having failed to take development to Western Province cannot pass without comment.

Western Province has lagged behind in development because his Members of Parliament (MPs) have refused to work with Government in delivering development there.

Indeed, Most of UPND MPs have previously held key positions in MMD government, but lamentably failed to usher development in that Province.

It’s unfortunate that Hichilema has deliberately chosen to peddle falsehood against a working Government when he is alive to the facts that pushed Western Province into the current situation.

Zambian DNA advises Hichilema to stop playing politics of expedience when he knows that its only PF government that has taken development to Western Province.

However, Western Province has had its share of infrastructure development in these six years the PF has been in power: The Mongu-Kalabo road, new health, schools and other public facilities have been constructed as well as the creation of new districts, which has brought government services closer to the people.

We urge the people of Western Province to ignore Hichilema’s lies aimed at misleading them for cheap political mileage.

  1. Kaunda went to look for non – existed oil in Chama. He knew very well that Barotseland has oil. Soon oil extraction may take place in Luapula and Northern provinces. It is the strategy of successive Zambian governments to keep Barotseland impoverished to keep it’s people in servitude. So don’t talk about HH lying. It’s cristal truth.
