12804194_10209234747645966_1825256795_nFour traditional leaders from Southern Province have visited opposition UPND vice-president for administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba.

Mwamba, commonly known as GBM, was last week arrested and remanded in custody through out the weekend on charges of proposing violence contrary to the laws of Zambia. This is in connection with his perceived threat to go for¬†President Lungu’s throat.

The four Chiefs visited Mwamba on Tuesday at his Kabulonga residence in Lusaka.

The Chiefs – Monze, Hamusonde, Nalubamba and Macha encouraged Mwamba to be strong.

Chief Nalubamba told GBM that many successful leaders experience what he is going through.

And GBM thanked the Chiefs for visiting him. He said the gesture was an indication that the people from Southern and Northern provinces would unite the country.

  1. He has many sympathisers and many more will continue siding with him. PF have paved way for their downfall.

If they continue persecuting opposition leaders, their demise will be so sudden.

I had a soft spot for PF but now I am beginning to side with UPND.

    • AM VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SEE OUR ROYAL HIGHNESS REDUCING THEMSELVES TO THE LEVELS OF PARTY CADRES. SURELY HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS, WHERE OUR CHIEFS LEAVE THERE PALACE TO TRAVEL ALL THE WAY TO LUSAKA JUST TO SEE ONE CALLED GBM. I REMEMBER THE LATE LITUNGA WHO SAID I QUOTE ” I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN ART HILL FOLLOWING AN ART, RATHER IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE THE OTHER WAY ROUND ”

PLEASE I BEG YOU OUR PARENTS TO BE RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH, AND REALIZE THAT ALL POLITICAL PARTY PLAYS ARE SUPPOSE TO BE YOUR CHILDREN NOT JUST THE UPND CHAPS. A WORD OF ADVICE IF THIS KIND OF BEHAVE CONTINUES BY OUR PARENTS IT WILL BE A RECIPE FOR TRIBAL CONFLICT IN ZAMBIA.SUPPOSE CHIEF FROM THE EASTERN PROVINCE STARTS BEHAVING LIKE THOSE FROM THE SOUTHERN. IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THEY ARE NOT DOING THIS FOR GBM, BUT THEIR OWN HH. GBM BE CAREFUL YOUR ARE BEING USED.

  2. This is what Kelenka Bwalya failed to calculate and when we say Lungu is dull, people complain… Politics is not about how much one is persecuted but about the number of sympathisers… Thats why Rupiah and Lungu found it easy to win sympathy votes after the demise of their predecessors…Ba Bwalya na Ba Lungu “mwaikakila umunwe kumo no lubango” Lungu may not understand this but i am sure bwalya will interpret… Pliz do not keep braging that you are educated when even a simple calculation is impossible for you… As usual you will say the chiefs visit is not anything… sit down and see what you can do before its worse… to be Frank,Bwalya is bringing more harm to Lungu than good but he is so dull that he cant read it… Iyeee ba Lungu uluse.Jailing GBM will give UPND more popularity than you think… “Munshebwa, aile namashinshi kubuko” Bwalya translate this saying kuli ba boss bobe

  4. These Riff Raffs dont know the history of nationalism. Mandela and ANC used the tact of causing confusion so that they could be arrested. The plan was to call for mass action of the people. They knew that as they come to courts they will interact with the people and mobilize with the help of the opponent. Wait and see. We all know on 10th March it is a day of activism as pronounced by Erroneous Clueless Living( ECL ). And we know that on 21st March its another day when we dont need to notify bakanyangu that we have a procession. Going to court to give solidarity we dont need that ka paper . So on the dates mentioned it will be messages all over social media, like were anything red, send to friends and so forth and so on. So Lungu has fallen on the trap of the opponent. He ill achieve absolutely nothing but loss of credibility if ever he has any. Shame Afican dictators.
