Sky Sports has named Zambia under-20 national soccer team forward Fashion Sakala as one of the top 10 best players at the South Korea FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
The former Zanaco FC player’s four goals helped the Junior Chipolopolo reach the tournament’s quarter finals for the first time in the country’s footballing history.
Featuring on the left side of the deadly attacking triumvirate that includes Patson Daka and Edward Chilufya, Sakala turned in a string of mesmeric displays to enhance his growing reputation as one of the game’s most promising players.
Noted for his technical ability, confidence in possession and lethal finishing with either foot, the 20-year-old Spartak Moscow forward seems destined for great things as long as he keeps working hard and remains level-headed.
