Opposition FDD leader Edith Nawakwi has urged President Lungu to apologies for his Uubomba Mwibala alya Mwibala remark which justifies stealing.

Ms Nawakwi says:

“UUBOMBA MWIBALA ALYA MWIBALA” is indefensible and very unfortunately statement, the best Lungu can do is to apologise to Zambian people.

Us from Northern province knows what it means when someone says UBOMBA MWIBALA ALYA MWIBALA and there is no other way you can twist it.

I think Lungu thought his mic was taken off when he said those words because I do not expect such a careless statement from the President.

Lungu do not have sober minded political advisors, otherwise they could have advised the president what to speak, and pick some topics for him instead of letting him speak careless in front of the cameras and later on start defending him over the mess they created themselves willingly.

Its too late for people like Sunday Chanda and his propagandist media to save Lungu from what he said on the copperbelt because Zambians knows the rampant corruption and that Bemba proverb suits the current situation.
