Chilufya Tayali says he had a good interaction with opposition UPND president Hakainde Hichilema in Police cell.
Tayali who was arrested for libel against Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja was granted bail yesterday.
Announcing his comeback, Tayali who has been a critic of Hichilema says God has revealed something during his detention in many ways especially with people he met citing the UPND leader.
Chilufya also revealed that he enjoyed good company of the top UPND Officials while at Kamwala prison.
But Social media commentator and now UPND Supporter Musamba Mumba said she was not sympthetic with Tayali.
“Welcome back my brother. I must confess my only worry was over your daughters and it is them I had planned to help if ever things got worse over their father. As for you I made it clear was not sorry at all, because you put yourself in this mess by campaigning for a sly devilish character disguised as holy, while discrediting better leaders with a vision who could have inspired citizens by creating an enabling environment and implementing sound policies for every Zambian to thrive,” Ms Mumba reacted to Tayali’s update post on his Facebook that he was back home.
I have just arrived home, from Kamwala Prison, after being granted bail by Magistrate Kaoma. I was arrested on Thursday 13th April, 2017 for libel.
I want to thank all of you who used to come to see me and bring me food. I sincerely appreciate your care and love.
I am also very grateful to all the inmates, especially the UPND top officers and cadres. I really enjoyed your company. The inmates at Kamwala prison were best the best. Thanks very much.
I can’t forget to thank all the nice police officers who dedicate their whole to serve citizens. It was good to be in your care and the security that you offered us while in the cells and as you took us to court.
I had a wonderful experience but allow me to clean myself up then I will share with you everything and reflections.
God works in many ways and this was one way in which God revealed himself to me in many ways including the people I met, especially HH whom I shared the cell with, for a few hours, at the Magistrate. We had very good interaction just the two of us.
God bless to all of you for now.
