The people of Chilanga constituency are voting in a by-election to replace Keith Mukata who stands convicted for murder of his security guard.

The poll which will determine who is commands support in Lusaka province between the two main political parties – PF and UPND started at 06:00 hours and will close at 18:00 hours today.

Four candidates are participating. These are UPND candidate Charmine Musonda and NAREP’s Pride Mazabuka.

Others are UPPZ candidate Francis Kope and Patriotic Front’s Maria Langa.

The Chilanga by-elections results are expected by midnight today. Mukata held the seat on UPND ticket.
