Lungu promises to reopen Mulungushi Textile before elections

President Edgar Lungu has promised to open Mulungushi Textiles on August 1, ten days before the general election. Mulungushi Textiles is the only Industry in Kabwe hence the main source of employment in the town. The PF which came in power by promising to create more jobs has been promising to get an investor to reopen the Industry for years now. But during a rally in Kabwe Saturday afternoon, in what seem to be desperation, Lungu promised again that this time the industry will reopen. President Lungu promised that by December Mulungushi Textiles would have employed 2,500 Kabwe Resident.
