The Football Association of Zambia has announced that the National Team will play the National Teams of Jordan and Egypt in November 2013.

FAZ announced on Monday, October 27, 2013 that the two friendly matches are a continuous regeneration process of coming up with a formidable team ahead of tournaments in 2014.

“In our demonstrated and continued policy of exposing our local talents to some of the finest and tough competition matches around the world, our Development/CHAN team will play Jordan in Amman on Sunday 3rd November while Chipolopolo will battle it out against the Pharaohs of Egypt in Cairo on Thursday 14th November,” FAZ announced.

The match between Jordan and Zambia will be played on a non FIFA date and will therefore feature a locally assembled side which will use the tie to prepare for the 2013 CECAFA championship as well as exposure of youngsters to the rigours of international football.

The fixture against Egypt is on a FIFA competition date and will therefore feature the full compliment of the Chipolopolo to be called by coach Patrice Beaumelle.
