Police lock up Ruth’s two relatives in connection with her killing

Police in Lusaka have picked and detained two suspects in connection with the brutal killing of a NIPA student Ruth Mbundu last Friday evening.
The two arrested are said to be related to Ruth though Police has refused to disclose their identity for what they say fear to jeopardise investigations.
Zambia Police Service Deputy Spokesperson Ray Hamoonga confirm the arrest in Lusaka on Wednesday. On Sunday Lusaka Commissioner Dr. Solomon Jere announced that Police was closing in on the murderers.
And on Tuesday Matero Member of Parliament who is also Deputy Minister of Finance Miles Sampa pledged K15 Million to anyone who would help in the arrest of the culprits.
Ruth 20, a Second year law student at NIPA was murdered and her body found near home with her facial skin and eyes removed. The body was found dumped  a street popularly known as devil’s street. She was coming from visiting her Uncle in Kabanana residential area in Lusaka.
