Zambia’s Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba has advised media houses in the country to reduce their concentration on political reporting but instead concentrate on highlighting the various developmental projects that the government is working on.

Mr. Kabimba told the Zambian Eye in Lusaka on Saturday that there was more to life than politics and it was the duty of the media to make sure that all aspects of life where reported to the people. He said the media was a very powerful too which would bring about tremendous development if rightly used but could also destroy if not properly used.

He said the recent concentration on the current state of affairs of the politics in the country had overshadowed other more important issues hence the need for the media to equally report on other issues.
