Outspoken Patriotic Front’s Wynter Kabimba says his role as Secretary General of the party has an interface with government at a point.
Mr. Kabimba who was in Western province to officiate at the two day PF party convention in Mongu Tuesday morning explained that they are certain issues that he comments on that create a convergence of the government and the party.
He said do so is not interfering with the government adding that if it was the case the President Michael Sata would have told him.
The PF Secretary General told more than 40 PF committee members from the province that they were at the same level with the provincial administration.
Mr. Kabimba pointed out that the party should monitor government programmes to see to it that the PF party manifesto which saw them into power is being fulfilled to the Zambian people. He explained that in each province they are two authorities the party and the government.
The PF Secretary General comforted the PF members that President Sata had not forgotten about them as the time for them to be rewarded is drawing closer. He told them not to get disillusioned and remain steadfast by carrying forward the party programs saying motivation will follow later.
